Our team received information about trucks carrying laying hens from France to Poland in poor conditions and waited over 50 hours on the motorway. Three lorries, each carrying around 4,300 chickens (parent stock), were stopped and inspected by the Chemnitz police. The animals had already been on the road for 16 hours without food or water. The police have filed charges against the transport company.
