Poland | Łagow | Cattle market
Today our team visits cattle market in Łagow. There are more animals than last time. We count about 500 animals. Among trader Ogoneks animals, we observe one cow with ingrown horn and a few with overgrown hooves, but the remaining animals seem to be in good condition. Few minutes after 8am, we notice in a small lorry a cow, which seems to have a problem with its hind leg. As soon as the owner notices that we are looking into his lorry, he closes the door and tries to hide the animal. We call the market vet to check the cow. He confirms that the leg is swollen, but the cow can still walk and can be transported. Close to 9am, the market is almost empty. Only the cows of trader Maciejek and Ogonek are still waiting for their transport. They get loaded at 11:30am.
