Today our team visits cattle market in Łagow. We start few minutes after 6 o’clock, but it is still dark. Moreover it’s cold and rainy. The market in Łagow is smaller than the one in Bodzentyn. There is only about 350-400 animals, mostly cows and bulls and limited number of calves. Most of animals are in good general condition, but we observe few emaciated cows, few with overgrown hooves and one with serious abrasion on ischial bones. We also find a bull with tethered legs. The animal is released after we inform the owner it’s forbidden. About 8:30am there is only two traders left at the market. One is Ogonek who buys a lot of cows and waits for transport. We also wait until he finished loading. This time he loads cattle on one deck in swanneck of his truck. All infringements will be report to the Vet Inspection.
